Membership

Identity Management Institute (IMI) is an international organization established to connect identity management professionals and organizations, provide identity risk management guidelines, promote the field, certify qualified professionals and educate the public at large. IMI Members demonstrate dedication and professionalism to the field of identity risk management.


 


Types of membership

Regular members – active members who have been certified as CIRM, CRFS and/or CIPA.


Associate members - active members who are interested in the field of identity management and would like to have access to some member benefits but are not certified by IMI yet.

Cost

The non-refundable membership application fee is $95. Annual membership dues are $35 for Associate members and $95, $150 or $195 for Regular members depending on their certification levels. Annual dues must be paid by December 31 of each year including the year in which membership is accepted on or before August 31.

Step 2 – Pay the $95 non-refundable membership application fee by check, online by clicking the link below or upon receipt of the online credit card payment voucher which you will receive after your application is reviewed and accepted for processing.

Existing Members - Renew Your Membership Online

It is member responsibility to renew IMI membership annually prior to certification expiration by December 31st each year. Existing members may use the PayPal payment option below to pay their annual membership dues.
