IMI Membership
 

Identity Management Institute (IMI) is an international organization established to connect identity management professionals and organizations, provide identity risk management guidelines, promote the field, certify qualified professionals and educate the public at large. IMI Members demonstrate dedication and professionalism to the field of identity risk management.


 


Types of membership

Regular members – are those active members who have been certified as CIRM or CIPA.

Associate members - are those active members who are interested in the field of identity management and would like to have access to member benefits but are not certified by IMI yet. Students are welcome.

Membership Benefits

1. Eligibility to petition for the CIRM designation at no cost, 
2. 
Eligibility for CIPA examination,

3. Invitation to member-only networking events,

4. Certification maintenance, and 
5. 
Opportunity to submit articles for the Identity Management Journal.

Cost

The non-refundable membership application fee is $95 and annual membership dues are $35 for Associate members and $95 or $150 for Regular members depending on their certification levels. Annual dues must be paid by December 31 of each year including the year in which membership is accepted on or before August 31.

How to apply

Step 1 - Complete and submit the Application For Membership form.

Step 2 – Pay the $95 non-refundable membership application fee by check or upon receipt of the online credit card payment voucher. You will receive the voucher after your application is reviewed and accepted for processing.
